Junior Drug Safety Associate

We are seeking a detail-oriented Junior Drug Safety Associate to join our growing pharmacovigilance team. In this role, you'll play a critical part in supporting the monitoring and reporting of product safety information, helping ensure that patients, healthcare providers, and regulatory authorities receive accurate and timely safety data. What You'll Do
  • Receive and process adverse event reports, technical complaints, and medical inquiries through phone, email, and other communication channels.
  • Perform case intake, triage, and tracking to ensure safety reports are handled accurately and efficiently.
  • Enter and maintain case information within pharmacovigilance and adverse event databases.
  • Document safety information clearly, accurately, and in accordance with established procedures.
  • Coordinate the routing of cases and supporting documentation to internal stakeholders.
  • Conduct quality review checks to ensure case files are complete, accurate, and compliant before submission.
  • Follow up on outstanding cases to obtain missing information and ensure timely case closure.
  • Manage safety databases, shared mailboxes, and electronic records to support operational efficiency.
  • Coordinate translation services for reports received in non-English languages.
  • Assist with the development and maintenance of standard operating procedures and process improvements.
  • Support compliance with pharmacovigilance regulations, company policies, and industry best practices.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Biology, Healthcare, or a related field preferred.

Work Environment

This is a primarily remote position with occasional on-site attendance at the Port Washington facility for team meetings and company events, typically once or twice during the contract period. Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Port Washington, NY.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
