Qualifikationen

Perform calibration of radiation instruments and all quality control measurements in accordance with documented laboratory procedures.

To support the growth of our team, we are currently seeking a Dosimetry Laboratory Technician. This position is available on a fixed-term basis and may also be filled through an external agency.

Tasks
  • Perform daily operations at DOL (calibration & testing measurements, issue of calibration certificates) in accordance with applied quality and safety regulations (ISO17025, Radiation protection, Working instructions) No complaints related to the correctness of measurement procedures and processes as defined in working instructions.
  • Assist in the improvement of technical infrastructure (maintenance/repair), procedures and documentation of DOL Provide support in regular inspection of technical infrastructure including maintenance/repair of electrical and mechanical parts (where applicable).
  • Back-up logistic for external and internal customers Perform independently DOL related logistic activities (in-out, capacity planning, invoicing, BE)
  • Assist in maintaining secondary and tertiary standards and radiation units Perform regular QC measurements of our dosimetry standards and monitor relevant parameters of radiation sources and other calibration devices.
Requirements
  • English level B1 or better.
  • General knowledge: MS Office – Excel, Word.
  • Basic knowledge of ISO/IEC 17025:2018 / DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025:2018 General requirements for the competence of testing and calibration laboratories.
  • Basic knowledge of ISO 13485:2016 Medical Devices – Quality management systems.
  • Experience in operating electrical and nonelectrical laboratory equipment.
