The University of Münster invites applications for Doctoral Research Associate in the Department for Quantum Technology. The fixed-term position is part-time (67%) for 3 years, with 4 teaching hours per week during the semester.

You will participate in the Foundations of Quantum Theory Group, plan and conduct projects in quantum information theory and foundations, and collaborate with international partners.

Formación

The Department for Quantum Technology of the Faculty of Physics at the University of Münster, Germany, is seeking to fill the position of a

Doctoral Research Associate Wissenschaftliche*r Mitarbeiter*in (salary level E 13 TV-L, 67%)

at the earliest possible date. We are offering a fixed-term part-time position (67%) for 3 years. Full-time employees are required to teach 4 hours per week during the semester.

Your tasks:

• Participate in the research activities of the Foundations of Quantum Theory Group at the Department of Quantum Technology, including the planning and execution of scientific projects in the fields of quantum information theory and foundations of quantum theory.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of collaborative research efforts with group members, students, and international research partners.
• Publication of original research results in leading scientific journals and presentation of these results at international conferences.
• Participation in the teaching activities of the Department of Quantum Technology.
• The position is associated with the completion of a doctoral research project (PhD).
