Mission of the Role

This leadership role is accountable for driving the execution of Visteon’s product strategy within the Displays portfolio for the Europe region and its customers. The incumbent will drive business growth by fostering strong relationships with OEMs and key suppliers, deriving a compelling story to sell Visteon display products, overseeing go‑to‑market initiatives, and delivering innovative solutions across key product areas within Displays.

Key Objectives of this Role
Business Development & Customer Engagement
  • Establish and strengthen strategic relationships with key OEMs (target 5‑7) and suppliers to identify and secure new business opportunities.
  • Lead the creation of compelling product narratives and technical proposals to support RFIs, RFQs, and proof‑of‑concept (PoC) initiatives.
  • Partner with sales and engineering teams to optimize quoting strategies, ensure bill of materials (BOM) accuracy, and improve win rates and deal closure.
Product Strategy & Roadmap Execution
  • Define and execute product strategies, roadmaps, and feature sets tailored to various vehicle segments and customer requirements.
  • Align product positioning with market trends, competitive insights, and strategic ecosystem partnerships.
  • Drive PoC initiatives to validate innovative concepts and accelerate market adoption.
Ecosystem & Go‑to‑Market Strategy
  • Collaborate with suppliers and partners to co‑develop go‑to‑market strategies that enhance customer value and differentiate our offerings.
  • Support marketing and branding efforts to elevate Visteon’s visibility and leadership in Displays products.
  • Represent Visteon as a product ambassador at industry events and customer engagements.
Key Performance Indicators
RFI/RFQ Pipeline Growth
  • Develop a robust RFI/RFQ pipeline that supports achievement of annual New Business Win (NBW) targets.
Proof‑of‑Concept (PoC) Engagements
  • Number of PoC initiatives launched with new or strategic customers to validate innovation and drive adoption.
Market Share & Profitability
  • Measurable growth in product market share and contribution to overall portfolio profitability.
Key Year One Deliverable
  • Expand RFI/RFQ pipeline and secure new business awards.
  • Launch strategic PoCs with new target customers.
  • Strengthen strategic supplier and OEM partnerships.
Qualifications, Experience, and Skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field, MBA preferred.
  • 10+ years in product development, marketing, or business development.
  • 5+ years with an automotive OEM, Tier‑1 supplier, or Tier‑2 display supplier.
  • Strong knowledge of displays (TFT, LCD, OLED), products, and markets.
  • Proven success in cross‑functional collaboration and customer engagement.
