Overview

Director - Global Payments Product (all genders) to join our Fintech Product team and deliver best-in-class payment experiences for customers across the world. As a Director in the Global Payments Product team, you will be responsible for the suite of products and services that power and optimize billions of annual transactions across over 65 countries. You will define and deliver an impactful roadmap of global capabilities, align strategic priorities and tactical execution across global and regional product teams, and benchmark successful execution both within and outside the Delivery Hero family of brands. You will partner closely with senior Business and Engineering leaders to deliver step-change to Payments growth, cost optimization, and customer experience. This role reports to the Senior Director, Financial Service Product and directs a team of Product and Operations leaders, in addition to working closely with Business, Engineering, Data, Compliance, and other key functional stakeholders. You will be part of building the financial backbone of Delivery Hero, developing products that empower millions of customers and merchants, from seamless payments to innovative financial solutions like wallets and credit. Your work will support profitability by creating financial flexibility for users and enabling smooth transactions across markets.

Responsibilities

• Leadership & Team Building: Lead and develop a team of approximately 10-15 Product Management and Product Operations professionals, with shared responsibility for a multi-functional Payments team of nearly 100 people.
• Product Strategy & Execution: Shape, drive, and deliver Delivery Hero’s global product vision for payment processing and payment orchestration. Develop a multi-year roadmap aligned with strategic/financial objectives and with senior leaders across the family of brands. Make trade-off decisions in a dynamic, resource-constrained environment; results should reflect the quality of those decisions.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with engineering, data, compliance, operations, and platform leaders to deliver scalable, high-performing payment solutions that drive sustainable growth and cost reduction worldwide.
• Global Transformation: Stay aligned with global market trends (e.g., API capabilities, integration with other Fintech offerings, AI/ML-enabled payment orchestration) to deliver relevant products in 65+ countries.
• Delivery Excellence: Oversee product delivery lifecycles from ideation to release and iteration. Define and own enterprise-wide KPIs that contribute to company targets.
• Thought Leadership: Act as a subject matter expert in global payments, influencing company-wide strategies, plans, and best practices within your scope; contribute to the broader Fintech strategy and raise the bar for knowledge and impact within the team.

Qualifications

• Communication: Fluent in verbal and written English; able to present, negotiate, and tell strategic stories to executives and diverse stakeholders.
• Team Leadership: Inspiring, engaging, and influential leader with proven experience managing, growing, and mentoring Product professionals across geographies.
• Product Leadership: 10+ years in Product Management, with 5+ years leading multi-tiered teams in a global technology company.
• Domain Expertise: Significant experience building payment platforms at a global scale; able to educate and influence teams and stakeholders to deliver a best-in-class product.
• History of Results: Strong track record of shipping high-impact, scalable products end-to-end.
