The Deutsche Börse Group is seeking a Head of Real Estate to lead end-to-end strategy for global workplaces, spanning more than 30 locations worldwide. You will shape real estate strategy to reflect a modern, high-performance environment that boosts productivity, collaboration and employee wellbeing.

You will manage a global team, oversee ongoing operations and the delivery of new sites, and coordinate with external partners to ensure best-in-class service while aligning processes with the One

Qualifications

• University degree in Economics, Engineering or related field.
• 7+ years leading mid- to large international teams.
• 5–10 years in senior facility management roles with focus on corporate real estate topics and building operations.
• Proven track record in project management with budget responsibility.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex topics clearly and concisely; used to communicate to C-Level Management.
• Proven business partnership with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• High drive and flexibility, including on-site presence and travel as needed.
• Fluent in German and English (written and spoken); French language skills are an advantage.

Responsabilités

• Provide corporate Real Estate Management expertise
• Ensure smooth operations and management for dedicated Deutsche Boerse Group premises
• Deliver construction projects of various sizes for existing and new locations worldwide
• Manage complex contract negotiations (e.g., lease contracts, and contracts with General Contractors)
• Lead a team of 30+ experienced facility management experts globally
• Enhance the Real Estate & Facility Management related Target Operating Model (TOM) in line with our ongoing "One Group" project
• Ensure compliance with all relevant internal and external rules and regulations as well as proper documentation (e.g., facility management related policies, guidelines, handbooks and procedures) for all assigned premises
• Secure budget adherence in line with defined targets
• Manage the relationship with our Physical Security, Corporate IT and Business Continuity Management teams
• Steer external service providers supporting building operations (such as technical maintenance, cleaning, in-house services, and catering)

You will lead a global team accountable for the operational excellence, continuous improvement, and transformation of our existing locations, while driving the planning and delivery of new sites in alignment with our long-term business objectives. This includes overseeing a broad ecosystem of external partners to ensure consistent, best-in-class service quality across all regions.

A key part of the role is close collaboration with real estate teams across our subsidiaries to further advance an "under one roof" concept, creating a more integrated, workplace experience where reasonable and aligning related processes and standards across Deutsche Börse Group.

Your profile

• Minimum 5-10 years in senior facility management roles with focus on corporate real estate topics and building operations
• Proven track record in project management as well as delivery experience with budget responsibility
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex topics clearly and concisely; used to communicate to C-Level Management
• Proven business partnership with the ability to influence senior stakeholders
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• High drive and flexibility, including on-site presence and travel as needed
