Senior Director of Business Development – Data Centre Construction (Europe & US)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Director of Business Development, based anywhere in Europe, to lead strategic growth and key client relationships within the Data Centre construction business unit. This senior leadership position will focus on developing and executing sales and business development strategies across Europe, driving revenue growth, and managing global accounts.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute the regional business development and sales strategy in collaboration with senior leadership.
  • Lead and expand key account programs, ensuring long-term client satisfaction and revenue growth.
  • Monitor and manage KPIs including ROI, win and capture rates, and business development expenditure.
  • Coordinate business development and sales activities across regional and global teams.
  • Champion the company’s sales platform, ensuring consistent implementation, compliance, and performance improvement.
  • Support regional teams in identifying, developing, and growing strategic accounts.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to ensure alignment of messaging, branding, and sales materials for proposals, presentations, and industry events.
  • Represent the company at industry conferences and networking opportunities to enhance market presence.
  • Contribute to the development of proposals, working closely with estimating, planning, and operations teams.
  • Promote a proactive health, safety, and environmental culture across all business activities.
  • Inspire, coach, and motivate regional teams to deliver excellence and meet ambitious business goals.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related discipline.
