Die Deutsche Bank sucht eine erfahrene Fachkraft im Bereich Operational Risk Management (ORM) mit Schwerpunkt auf Digitalisierungsrisiken. In dieser Rolle arbeiten Sie im Chief Risk Office (CRO) und stärken Governance und Aufsicht von digitalen Prozessen, Vermögenswerten, Technologien und regulatorischen Anforderungen.

Sie bewerten Risiken aus Automatisierung, digitalen Assets, Cloud-Umgebungen, API-Architekturen und Distributed Ledger Technologien.

Qualifikationen

• Abgeschlossenes Studium in Wirtschaftsinformatik, Finanzen oder verwandten Disziplinen.

Aufgaben

• Überwachung und Steuerung digitalisierungsbezogener Risiken in Geschäfts- und Infrastrukturteilen.
• Bewertung von Risiken durch Automatisierung, Cloud-Lösungen, digitale Arbeitsabläufe und KI/ML.
• Unterstützung beim Ausbau des Risikorahmens, inkl. Taxonomien, Kontrollen und Szenario-Analysen.
• Analyse regulatorischer Entwicklungen (DLT, digitale Betrieblichkeit, Technologiem governance) und Umsetzung.
• Zusammenarbeit mit erster Linie und Fachbereichen zur Risikoanalyse und Design-Kritik digitaler Prozesse.

Position Overview

This role sits within the Operational Risk Management (ORM) function, with a focus on overseeing and enhancing the bank’s approach to digitalisation risk. The position is embedded in the Chief Risk Office (CRO) of the organisation and contributes to the strengthening of the bank’s risk governance across digital processes, digital assets, technology‑enabled services, and emerging regulatory expectations.

Your Key Responsibilities

• You lead independent oversight, challenge, and guidance on digitalisation related risks across business and infrastructure functions.
• You assess digital risks arising from automation, digital assets, cloud solutions, digital workflows, AI/ML enabled processes, and end to end process transformation initiatives.
• You support the development and enhancement of the bank’s digitalisation risk framework, including risk taxonomies, control standards, and scenario assessments.
• You analyse regulatory developments in the areas of digital assets, DLT, digital operational resilience, and technology governance, ensuring timely implementation and compliance.
• You work with 1st Line and specialist functions to perform thematic reviews, risk assessments, and challenge of digital process design, control effectiveness and risk mitigation strategies.
• You act as the subject matter expert within ORM for digitalisation risk, contributing to cross functional working groups and risk governance forums.

Your Skills And Experiences

• Degree in Business, Finance, Technology, Engineering, Risk Management or related disciplines
• Experience in operational risk, digitalisation risk, technology risk or related control functions ideally within a financial institution o regulated environment.
• Practical understanding of digital technologies and architectures, including cloud platforms, APIs, automation technologies and distributed systems.
• Experience reviewing or assessing technology-enabled processes and digital transformation initiatives from a risk perspective.
• Understanding of Could architectures (GCP, AWS, Azure) and associated operational and resilience risks.
• Understanding of API architecture microservices environment and platform based digital ecosystems
• Prior experience or a foundational understanding of digital assets and distributed ledger technologies (DLT) is strongly encouraged
• Understanding of regulatory frameworks relevant to digitalisation and technology risk, such as DORA, MICAR, technology outsourcing frameworks and digital operational resilience.
• Understanding of risk assessment methodologies and non-financial risk frameworks including operational resilience and technology governance
• Strong analytical capabilities, ability to challenge technology design and control environments and excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
