Qualifikationen

We partner with food and FMCG companies to save products at risk of going to waste by re-selling them at discounted prices directly to consumers : sustainable, affordable and accessible to all. Working at Matsmart / Motatos, you will join our fight against food waste and contribute to making the world a better place.

We are now looking for a Digital Marketing Manager with broad expertise in Performance Marketing. You will be responsible for managing and optimising performance marketing campaigns in SEM, but also in Meta and other channels through the platform Smartly, as well as supporting other initiatives such as SEO and briefing UGC-content. This is a role that requires both technical and creative knowledge.

This role is hands‑on but also managing the strategy and best‑practices in this area. You will be a part of a fast growing and energised organisation with supportive colleagues. This position is part of the Matsmart / Motatos Performance Marketing team, and reports to the Head of Performance Marketing.

What You’ll Do
  • Manage and optimise performance marketing campaigns in Google Ads, could be in Nordic, German and other languages
  • Manage & optimise campaigns in Meta through Smartly, as well as testing new channels (e.g. Reddit, Pinterest, TikTok, Snapchat)
  • UGC content planning & ordering content for paid channels
  • SEO project management
  • Reporting and keeping track of budgets and KPI's
  • Be point of contact for possible agencies and partners
  • Stay up to date on the latest trends in performance marketing to develop the channel mix
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally with brand, creative, and e‑commerce teams to launch campaigns that drive sales in a cost‑effective manner.
  • Refine and adjust strategies based on performance data and ever evolving market conditions.
What We’re Looking For
  • 2‑3+ years of hands‑on experience in digital marketing, preferably in the e‑commerce or consumer goods space.
  • Hands‑on experience from working with Google Ads, Meta and similar buying platforms, comfortable working with different languages.
  • Experience in the Smartly platform is highly desirable
  • Experience in SEO is a plus
  • You are a digital native with broad expertise in performance marketing, always ready to use that knowledge to test new channels
  • Experience from working with E‑commerce inhouse or with E‑commerce clients
  • Analytical mindset—you know your CAC from your ROAS, and you're comfortable pulling reports and optimising campaigns and partnerships.
  • A collaborative and entrepreneurial spirit—you're independent and take ownership, but also thrive in a team and environment that moves and evolves fast.
  • Strong project management and problem solving skills
  • An excellent communicator and collaborator, able to work effectively with diverse teams.
  • Proficiency in English and Swedish / Finnish / Danish or German
