We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to join our Development team. You will work on Linux server administration, IaC automation, and monitoring of complex software ecosystems, collaborating with our consulting team and customers.
Responsibilities
- Linux-Administration: Manage and operate Linux server landscapes (e.g., Debian, Ubuntu) from installation and hardening to monitoring and troubleshooting.
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC) & Automation: Automate system and application setups with orchestration tools (e.g., Ansible) to ensure stable, reproducible environments.
- DevOps Engineering: Monitor and control complex software ecosystems and internal developments, including:
- Ensure interfaces and backend services function in heterogeneous system environments
- Monitor and manage development and deployment pipelines
- Plan, manage, and monitor releases and rollouts
- Analyze and resolve incidents involving in-house and third-party software
Schnittstellen: Act as the point of contact for our Consulting team and customers; translate requirements into robust, scalable infrastructure.
Bereich: Position aligned with the Development department. Direct supervisor is technically focused and provides feedback and support.
What you bring
- Fachlich/ methodisch: Very good Linux knowledge (e.g., Ubuntu, Debian). Experience in DevOps. Experience with orchestration tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, Chef, SaltStack). Proficient with version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines. Scripting language knowledge (e.g., Python; Bash). Ideally experience in object-oriented programming (e.g., C++ or Go).
- Qualifikation: Fachinformatik training with a focus on software development or an equivalent qualification. External and self-taught candidates with relevant experience are welcome.
- Persönlich/ sozial: You think in automation, not manual work. Agile mindset, readiness to contribute and teamwork. Enjoy complex infrastructures and keeping them performant and stable.
- Sprachlich: German language skills at native level in speaking and writing.
