Christy Media Solutions is seeking a DevOps Engineer to join our established team in Munich. The role focuses on Linux-based production environments on AWS, bridging engineering, technical support and production Cloud Operations.

You will troubleshoot incidents, manage cloud infrastructure, and drive reliability through automation and runbooks. Collaboration with engineering and services teams is essential to improve observability and resilience.

Qualifikationen

• Hands-on experience in Cloud Operations, DevOps or Linux-based production support.
• Strong networking knowledge: TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, TLS, routing, firewalls and load balancing.
• AWS or equivalent cloud infrastructure experience.
• Automation or scripting experience using Python, Bash or similar.
• GitHub and Git-based workflow experience.
• Understanding of authentication, authorization, certificates and encryption.
• Experience with Terraform, AWS CloudFormation or similar Infrastructure as Code technologies would be advantageous.

We currently have an excellent permanent opportunity for a DevOps Engineer top join our well established and highly successful client in the content security and anti-piracy sector.

This is an opportunity for someone with a strong Technical Support, production support or infrastructure foundation who has developed, or is developing, their career towards DevOps.

Rather than requiring a highly senior DevOps profile, the position places particular importance on hands-on Linux administration, networking, AWS and troubleshooting experience.

The role sits at the intersection of engineering, Technical Support and DevOps, helping bridge the operational gap between application development and production Cloud Operations.

What we’re looking for:

• Proven hands-on experience within Cloud Operations, DevOps, SRE or Linux-based production support
• Solid networking knowledge, including TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, TLS, routing, firewalls and load balancing
• AWS or equivalent cloud infrastructure experience
• Automation or scripting experience using Python, Bash or similar
• GitHub and Git-based workflow experience
• Understanding of fundamental security concepts including authentication, authorisation, certificates and encryption

Experience with Terraform, AWS CloudFormation or similar Infrastructure as Code technologies would be advantageous, as would experience with AWS services including Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB and S3.
