We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be instrumental in shaping and maintaining our infrastructure, ensuring the reliable operation of our Python-based applications and containerized environments. Your primary responsibility will be to automate and optimize our infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles, with a focus on Ansible. You will collaborate closely with development teams to support CI/CD pipelines, monitor system health, and implement scalable solutions. The ideal candidate will have a passion for automation, a solid understanding of Linux environments, and practical experience with container management and orchestration tools. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work in a flexible, innovative environment that values technical expertise and proactive problem-solving.
The ideal candidate will possess a relevant IT qualification, such as an IT-related degree or vocational training, complemented by substantial professional experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or Linux system engineering. Proven expertise in automating infrastructure with Ansible or similar tools is essential. Strong proficiency in Linux operating systems, scripting languages such as Bash and Python, and containerization technologies like Docker and Docker-Compose is required. Experience with CI/CD pipeline development, preferably with GitLab CI, is highly desirable. Knowledge of ITSM tools such as Jira or ServiceNow, as well as familiarity with container orchestration systems like Nomad, will be considered advantageous. A proactive mindset, excellent communication skills, and a team-oriented approach are critical for success in this role.
