Job summary

Gulp AG in Munich seeks a Mechatronics/Engineering professional to shape sustainable heavy-duty braking and control systems. You will design mechatronic braking solutions for commercial vehicles and coordinate across internal departments and suppliers to ensure precise specifications and successful tender outcomes.

You will lead agile teams as Scrum Master, remove impediments, manage dependencies and contribute to group-wide projects with a strong emphasis on functional safety and lifecycle

Qualifications

• Bachelor or equivalent degree in mechatronics, electrical or mechanical engineering with a relevant specialization.
• Solid knowledge of development and PDM tools used in engineering environments (Windchill, ENOVIA, ELANIS, OAS, CATIA).
• Strong expertise in agile coaching, team development, and flow management.
• Ability to remove impediments, manage dependencies and collaborate across disciplines.
• Excellent moderation, communication and conflict resolution skills with high empathy and listening.
• Structured, independent work style with prioritization under time pressure.
• Ideally several years of experience in commercial vehicle development and understanding of mechatronic and pneumatic systems.
• Basic knowledge in functional safety (ISO 26262) is advantageous.
• Valid Class C (CE preferred) driving license and willingness for occasional business trips.

Develop and design innovative mechatronic braking systems for the commercial vehicle industry. Create detailed specifications and maintain continuous coordination with internal departments and development suppliers. Evaluate technical and economic proposals, including the preparation of tender documents up to the final nomination. Work closely across brands on group-wide development projects. Actively contribute your expertise to the VCT Brake & Air. Provide comprehensive support and further development of mechatronic systems throughout their entire product lifecycle. Fulfill the role of Scrum Master to foster self-organized teams and ensure efficient development processes.

• Successfully completed studies in the field of mechatronics, electrical engineering or mechanical engineering with a relevant specialization.
• Solid user knowledge of common development and PDM tools such as Windchill, ENOVIA, ELANIS, OAS and CATIA 2D/3D.
• Strong expertise in agile coaching, team development, and flow and collaboration management.
• Demonstrable strength in removing impediments, managing dependencies, and in interdisciplinary collaboration.
• Excellent moderation, communication and conflict resolution skills paired with high empathy and active listening.
