Your Role

• - Technical responsibility for high-precision actuation systems throughout the entire product lifecycle, from development to series products
• - Further development of actuation systems with a focus on design verification, manufacturability, integrability, and risk management
• - Coordination and integration of actuation systems with adjacent disciplines such as mechanics, sensor technology, electronics, control engineering, and software
• - Ensuring quality, performance, and delivery capability in close collaboration with production, suppliers and system development
• - Requirements engineering in close cooperation with relevant stakeholders
• - Technical supplier management and further development of suppliers, as well as evaluation of development and manufacturing processes
• - Presentation of the assigned topics to internal and external customers

Your Profile

• - Excellent university degree in mechatronics, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, engineering cybernetics or a comparable field; initial professional experience and/or a PhD are desirable
• - Strong knowledge of relevant mechatronics disciplines (actuation, sensor technology, electronics, control engineering, dynamics, thermal engineering)
• - Proven experience in the development, characterization and application of piezo-based actuators, ideally in high precision positioning or optical systems
• - Programming skills (e.g. in Python, MATLAB or C/C++) are a plus
• - An independent and systematic way of working, as well as excellent organizational and communication skills
• - Team spirit, assertiveness and a high level of commitment and motivation
• - Willingness to travel domestically and internationally
• - Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken
