Qualifikationen

• Master's or Diploma in communications engineering, electrical engineering, or computer science.
• Several years of hands-on experience developing real, shipped products.
• Strong wireless background across DECT, Bluetooth, 4G/5G or Wi‑Fi; DECT NR+ experience ideal.
• Solid DSP knowledge including channel coding, time/frequency synchronization and robustness mechanisms.
• Embedded C/C++ development, plus Python and/or MATLAB.
• Familiarity with standards, specs and requirements; exposure to standardization bodies is a plus.

5V Tech are working with a close partner, known for their audio and wireless technology, engineering communication systems used across professional and consumer audio applications worldwide.

They're now looking for a Development Engineer to join their team in Hannover, playing a key role in shaping their DECT NR+ based wireless communication systems.

What you'll be working on:

• Developing architecture and DSP algorithms for DECT NR+ based wireless comms
• Running simulations and measurements (performance, robustness, interference, coverage) to shape system requirements
• Contributing to the DECT NR+ stack (PHY/MAC), including implementation, optimisation and debugging in embedded environments
• Owning work packages end to end, from scheduling to risk management
• Leading technical reviews and architecture workshops with key stakeholders
• Representing the company in international standardization bodies and research projects
• Mentoring engineers and producing technical documentation across architecture, specs and test concepts
