Tricera in Dresden is offering a full-time internship in Design & Layout to shape the energy solutions of the future. You will create layouts and concepts for large-scale battery storage systems using Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD Mechanical, while developing and maintaining documentation and 3D models.

Requirements include a current university degree or vocational training in a technical field, CAD proficiency, and German and English at B2 level.

Qualifikationen

• Current university degree in civil engineering, mechanical engineering, mechatronics, or a comparable field or vocational training in a related field with focus on technical drawing/product design.
• Proficiency with CAD programs: experience in design using CAD programs, preferably Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD Mechanical.
• Strong communication skills; willingness to coordinate internally and externally.
• Good German (at least B2) and good English (at least B2) in both spoken and written forms.

Aufgaben

• Creating layouts and concepts for large-scale battery storage systems using Autodesk AutoCAD.
• Developing and maintaining product and project documentation by creating BOMs, drawings, assembly instructions, and 3D models.
• Testing and evaluating technical solutions and identifying opportunities for improvement.
• Analysis and improvement of manufacturing and installation processes; propose optimization ideas.

To strengthen our team at our Dresden location, we’re looking to fill a full‑time internship position in the field of Design & Layout as soon as possible.

Here’s what your day‑to‑day work with us will look like

• Creating layouts and concepts for large‑scale battery storage systems using Autodesk AutoCAD
• Developing and maintaining product and project documentation by creating bill of materials, manufacturing drawings, assembly instructions, installation manuals, and 3D models
• Testing and evaluating technical solutions in the field and identifying opportunities for improvement
• Analysis and improvement of manufacturing and installation processes: You will identify optimization potential and develop improvement proposals for manufacturing and installation work

What you bring to the table

• A current university degree in civil engineering, mechanical engineering, mechatronics, or a comparable field or vocational training in a related field with a focus on technical drawing and/or product design
• Proficiency with CAD programs: Experience in design using CAD programs, preferably Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD Mechanical
• Strong communication skills: You demonstrate a high level of willingness to coordinate internally and externally
• Good German language skills (at least B2) and good English language skills (at least B2) in both spoken and written forms
