Zusammenfassung

Qorvo in Munich is seeking an RF Design Engineering Intern in our Advanced Cellular group. You will contribute to state-of-the-art BAW/SAW acoustic filter projects and support laminate integration into RF front-end modules.

You are currently pursuing a MS in Electrical Engineering with RF & Microwave focus. You will use ADS, AWR, HFSS and other tools, perform simulations, and help meet product specs, costs, and schedules.

Qualifikationen

• Currently pursuing a MS in Electrical Engineering with focus on RF & Microwaves.
• Exposure to RF measurement equipment such as spectrum analyzers and network analyzers preferred
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Strong collaboration skills and self-starter with good communication skills
• Effective organization skills for systematic planning and scheduling
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to convey complex technical information
• Detail oriented to ensure design and delivery of high yielding products
• Ability to enjoy working in fast paced work environment

• Designing of state-of-the-art BAW/SAW acoustic filter components for wireless RF applications
• Contributing to laminate integration of filter components into RFFE modules
• Running circuit and electromagnetic (EM) simulations using commercial and internal tools
• Understanding and meeting product specification requirements considering RF performance, costs and schedule
• Working alongside characterization team to evaluate and diagnose RF components
• Contributing to continuous improvement of design flow, methods and processes
• Documentation and presentation of results

Qorvo’sRF Design Engineering Internshipsare offered in our Advanced Cellular business group. Specific projects and responsibilities will be determined based on the business needs at the time of the internship assignment.

Responsibilities may include:

• Designing of State-of-the-art BAW/SAW Acoustic Filter components used in wireless RF Applications
• Contributingto Laminate integration of Filter Components into RFFE Modules
• Running circuit and electromagnetic (EM) Simulations using a combination of commercial and internally developed tools
• Understanding and meeting Product Specification requirements considering RF Performance, costs and schedule
• Working alongside Characterization Team to evaluate and diagnostic RF Components
• Contributing to the Continuous Improvement of Design flow, Methods, Processes
• Documentation and presentation of results

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a MS in Electrical Engineering with focus on RF & Microwaves. Finishing all courses is preferred.
• Software Exposure: ADS, AWR, FEM, HFSS, Momentum, Cadence, Dynamic Link
• Exposure to RF measurement equipment such as spectrum analyzers and network analyzers preferred
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Strong collaboration skills and self‑starter with good communication skills
• Effective organization skills for systematic planning and scheduling
• Strong writtenand verbal communication skillsto conveycomplex technical information
