Zusammenfassung

MM-Offshore GmbH is seeking a motivated Design Engineer (m/f/d) at our Dornbusch location to design and develop marine rudders and rudder systems. You will create 3D models, technical drawings and manufacturing documentation, and contribute to design improvements from concept through to production.

The role requires a degree in mechanical engineering, naval architecture, or a related field, with experience in marine engineering or shipbuilding being advantageous.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Naval Architecture, Design Engineering or a comparable technical qualification.
• Experience in mechanical engineering, marine engineering or shipbuilding is an advantage.
• Confident user of CAD software and producing technical drawings.

Aufgaben

• Design and develop marine rudders, rudder systems and related components.
• Create 3D models, technical drawings and manufacturing documentation.
• Perform technical design and further development of existing products.
• Coordinate with production, project management, suppliers and customers.
• Support technical projects from initial enquiry through to completion.
• Review and optimise designs with regard to functionality, manufacturability and cost efficiency.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation and design records.

Your Profile

• Strong technical understanding and a structured, independent way of working
• Good command of German and English
• Team-oriented, responsible and solution-driven
