You will work within an international, Franco-German environment and contribute to data center operations and system improvements. The role involves troubleshooting, guiding technicians, coordinating small projects, and ensuring safety during site activities.

Qualifikationen

• Knowledge of data center infrastructure (mechanical, electrical, fire protection, control systems).
• Troubleshoots mechanical and electrical systems and guides technicians through problems.
• Resolves difficult electro-mechanical issues and collaborates with engineering teams.
• Defines requirements and manages small project execution and tracking.
• Investigates simple issues and proposes effective solutions.
• Identifies opportunities for small process improvements and implements them.
• Basic competency in a programming language (e.g., PLCs).

• Ensure safety standards by issuing work permits to contractors and coordinating job execution.
• Conduct regular facility walks of data center electrical and mechanical infrastructure.
• Monitor and supervise facilities using systems like BMS/EPMS.

Our 3,500 employees are of 45 different nationalities and are spread across 27 offices in 10 countries, including France, Germany, Switzerland, Belgium, the UK, Singapore, Hong Kong, Portugal, Egypt, and the Netherlands

Mission : 6 month with a potential extension

Profiles

• Knowledge of data center infrastructure (e.g., mechanical, electrical, fire protection, and control systems).
• Troubleshoots mechanical and electrical system and demonstrates the ability to guide lower-level technicians through more ambiguous problems, including coaching/explaining.
• Troubleshoots and resolves more difficult electro-mechanical problems; and collaborates with the engineering team, as needed.
• Able to define requirements and manage the execution and tracking of small projects independently.
• Investigates and identifies simple issues within systems and can propose solutions.
• Recognizes process improvement opportunities and drives the implementation of small improvements.
• Ability to make software configuration changes, automate small tasks and/or modify small tools.
• May have basic competency in a programming language (e.g.,PLCs).

Activities

• Ensure safety standards followed by issuing work permits to contractors and co-ordination of job execution
• Regular facility walks on all data center electrical and mechanical infrastructure (UPS, MV electrical systems, generators, cooling systems etc.)
• Facility monitoring & supervision (via BMS, EPMS, Walkthrough...etc.)
• Participation in handling day-to-day tasks and fixing issues internally as they arise.
