Zusammenfassung

YER Deutschland is seeking a skilled maintenance technician to monitor, operate and maintain critical electrical and mechanical infrastructure in a data center setting in Frankfurt. You will handle UPS, MV systems, generators, cooling, PDUs, AHUs, and building automation, ensuring safe, reliable operation.

You will read drawings, troubleshoot issues, supervise contractors, and ensure compliance with health and safety standards.

Qualifikationen

• Technical degree or diploma in Electrical/Mechanical or related field.
• Basic knowledge of electrical and/or mechanical systems and troubleshooting.
• Ability to read technical drawings, schematics, and equipment docs.
• Commitment to workplace safety and following procedures.
• Hands-on mindset with willingness to learn and develop skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Physically able to lift up to ~16 kg and work on ladders/uneven surfaces.
• EU citizenship or right to work in the EU.

Aufgaben

• Monitor, operate, and maintain critical electrical and mechanical infrastructure (UPS, MV systems, generators, cooling, PDUs, AHUs, fire detection, BAS).
• Perform regular facility inspections to ensure safe, reliable operation.
• Monitor building systems via BMS/EPMS and other tools.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve infrastructure issues.
• Coordinate and supervise contractors; issue and manage work permits.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and operational standards.
• Read drawings, schematics, and maintenance docs; support day-to-day data center operations.

For our client we are currently filling the following position:

YOUR TASKS

• Monitor, operate, and maintain critical electrical and mechanical infrastructure, including UPS systems, MV electrical systems, generators, cooling systems, PDUs, AHUs, fire detection, and building automation systems.
• Perform regular facility inspections and walkthroughs to ensure safe and reliable operation of all infrastructure.
• Monitor building systems through BMS, EPMS, and other facility management tools.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve mechanical and electrical infrastructure issues.
• Coordinate and supervise contractors, including issuing and managing work permits.
• Ensure all maintenance and operational activities comply with health, safety, and operational standards.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, electrical schematics, and maintenance documentation.
• Support day-to-day data center operations and respond to operational incidents as required.

Your Qualifications

• Technical degree, diploma, or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial Maintenance, Building Systems Engineering, Automation Technology, or a related technical field.
• Basic knowledge of electrical and/or mechanical systems and troubleshooting techniques.
• Ability to read technical drawings, circuit diagrams, and equipment documentation.
• Strong commitment to workplace safety and the ability to follow strict operational procedures.
• Hands-on mindset with a strong willingness to learn and develop technical skills.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
• Physically able to lift equipment (up to approximately 16 kg) and work on ladders or uneven surfaces when required.
