A prestigious scientific organization in Germany is seeking a Data Scientist or Machine Learning/AI expert to join their AI and High-Performance Data Analytics division. The Max Planck Computing and Data Facility (MPCDF), in collaboration with the Max Planck Institute for Human Cognitive and Brain Sciences (MPI-CBS), is looking for a Data Scientist or Machine Learning / AI expert (m/f/d) Kennziffer 07/2025 to join the AI and High-Performance Data Analytics division of MPCDF.
In this role, you will contribute to a variety of cutting‑edge research projects at the interface of AI, data science, and neuroscience. Your work will contribute to developing advanced methods for:
In addition, you will serve as a key contact person for researchers at the MPI‑CBS, supporting them in efficiently leveraging the high‑performance computing (HPC) infrastructure at MPCDF to accelerate their research.
The full‑time position starts as soon as possible and is initially limited for a maximum period of three years. Salary will be based on experience according to the German TVöD.
