Zusammenfassung
IntelligenzIT is seeking an experienced Data Engineer / BI-DWH Developer to own a GCP-based data interface and Data Warehouse. You will collaborate with cloud/data architects and business stakeholders to deliver robust data solutions.
Key focus areas include SQL-based ETL/ELT, data quality, and performance optimization within an Agile team across Germany.
Qualifikationen
- Proven experience as a Data Engineer or BI/DWH Developer.
- Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Strong experience with BigQuery / GCP Data Warehouse.
Aufgaben
- Design, build and maintain SQL-based extraction, transformation and loading logic.
- Work with GCP DWH / BigQuery.
- Support and maintain Talend ETL jobs where required.
- Monitor and troubleshoot GCP data pipelines.
- Resolve data quality and performance issues.
- Collaborate with data architects, squad members and business stakeholders.
- Document data flows, mappings and technical solutions.
- Support testing, validation and deployment activities.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of GCP-based data processes.

We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer / BI-DWH Developer to join a cross-functional Data Squad and take ownership of a GCP-based data interface and Data Warehouse, working closely with cloud/data architects and business stakeholders.
Travel
Occasional travel within Germany, if required
What You’ll Bring
- Proven experience as a Data Engineer, BI/DWH Developer or similar
- Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Strong experience with BigQuery / GCP Data Warehouse
- Expert-level SQL skills including complex query development, optimization and data validation
- Strong understanding of ETL and data integration concepts
- Experience designing and maintaining SQL-based ETL/ELT processes
- Experience monitoring data pipelines and resolving data quality and performance issues
- Ability to work with data flows, mappings and technical documentation
- Experience working in Agile / cross-functional teams
- Strong analytical and structured problem-solving approach
- High attention to data quality and accuracy
Nice to Have
- Practical experience with Talend ETL
- Knowledge of Google Cloud Storage, Dataflow or Composer
- Familiarity with Agile / Scrum methodologies
- Experience supporting testing, validation and deployment of data interface changes
