What can you bring
Degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related technical field
Strong proficiency in SQL and Python for data processing and transformation
Solid experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL) and working knowledge of non-relational systems (e.g., MongoDB, Redis)
Hands-on experience with cloud data platforms like Azure, GCP, or AWS
Experience with data orchestration frameworks (e.g. Airflow, Dagster)
Expertise in Infrastructure-as-code (e.g. Terraform)
Experience with data modeling, cloud data warehouses (BigQuery), and ETL/ELT pipeline design
Familiarity with data testing, version control, and CI/CD workflows
A collaborative mindset and experience working in agile cross-functional teams
Fluent in English (C1 level)
Location: Be based OR be willing to relocate to Hamburg
Nice to Have
- Experience with Kubernetes (k8s) and Argo CD
- Experience with real-time data processing or streaming systems
- Exposure to reporting/visualization tools like Power BI, Looker, or Metabase
- Understanding of data governance, security, and compliance in data systems
- Domain experience with energy data, IoT, or EV charging behavior

Your Impact
- Build, monitor, and maintain scalable ETL pipelines and data workflows that power everything from internal dashboards to product features
- Design and implement data models that support advanced analytics and operational systems
- Collaborate closely with data scientists, analysts, and product managers to enable data accessibility and decision-making
- Improve and enforce data quality, consistency, and integrity across multiple sources
- Help scale our data platform to support real-time and batch processing as our business and data grow
- Contribute to our cloud-native infrastructure (Azure/GCP)
- Contribute to documentation, automation, and CI/CD practices for data engineering
