Zusammenfassung

ATC Computer Transport & Logistics GmbH, part of the Arvato Group, seeks Data Centre Installers to join the Berlin team. You will unload and position server racks, cabling and configuring hardware inside clients’ data centres, while following strict health, safety and security procedures.

You will communicate with customers and internal teams, complete daily checklists, and contribute to on-site reporting to ensure timely and accurate project updates.

• Hardware Setup: Unloading, unpacking with power tools and positioning IT hardware in client data centres.
• Procedure Compliance: Following client procedures including health, safety and security.

Data Centre Installers (DCIs) provide an essential service to our clients across Europe. They work inside our clients’ data centres delivering, positioning, and installing server racks to build their cloud infrastructure. YourResponsibilities:

• Hardware Setup: Unloading, unpacking with power tools and positioning customers’ IT hardware (server racks). Cabling server racks by patching and dressing fibre and copper cables.
• Procedure Compliance: Following clients’ procedures and requirements, including health and safety, and security.
• Communication: Communicating with costumers, colleagues, managers, planners, team leaders and supervisors, in a consistent, timely, and efficient manner.
• Daily Reporting: Completing daily checklists and providing reports on daily activities or tasks.

Qualifications

• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills, with high levels of attention to detail
• Basic experience with hand and power tools
• Adaptability and responsiveness to evolving costumer requirements
• Valid class B driving licencewith a good driving record
• Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams and Email
• Professional communications skills with clients, colleagues and vendors
• Language proficiency: C1 level in English and B2 level in German
