Tasks

As a Data Analyst Lead , I am delivering real impact in digitizing the travel experience of our clients. Next to providing clear insights I keep an eye on the bigger picture with regards to Data Analytics in a Value Stream. I strive to bring the data-driven mindset of our ecosystem to the next level.

  • I drive and improve the quality of data collection, reports, metrics and analyses on team-overarching level
  • I collaborate with both the leadership team and product teams to assess business needs, identify possibilities for improvement and adaptations regarding their digital products
  • I handle strategic prioritization of analytics topics in my value stream while adhering to overarching guardrails and OKRs
  • I track data maturity in my value stream and enable product teams to improve it
  • I can negotiate and discuss my findings constructively
  • I coach the data analysts in my value stream in their career development
  • I handle and solve conflicts (content / personal) related to data analytics in my value stream

Requirements
  • At least 8 years of experience as a Digital or Data Analyst
  • Previous experience as a team lead or mentoring / coaching data specialists
  • Ambition to master and not being intimidated by complex data structures and large datasets
  • Experience in digital data collection (tracking) and / or tag management systems
  • Experience in standard digital analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics)
  • Knowledge of software‑development processes, dependencies and digital products
  • Knowledge of databases (e.g., SQL, NoSQL), script languages (Python, R), reporting tools (e.g., Tableau) and cloud platforms (esp. Microsoft Azure)
  • Experience with AB testing and personalization is a plus
  • Experience in data architecture or data engineering is a plus
  • Experience working in cross‑functional teams in an agile environment
