To strengthen our Finance and Business Administration team, we are looking for a Data Analyst (m/f/d) who can translate complex data analyses into meaningful insights, enabling well-informed decision-making.

We offer you maximum flexibility regarding your workplace: you can choose between Usingen (headquarters), Munich, or Hamburg, and additionally have the option to work part of the week from home.

You will also have the opportunity to actively shape the development of a modern BI landscape.

Your tasks:

• Build, further develop, and automate reports, dashboards, and ad-hoc analyses (e.g., revenue, costs, budget planning, and forecasting)
• Independently analyse and prepare financial and business data to support the Head of Finance and Business Administration
• Design and implement dashboards, reports, and KPIs to support corporate management
• Collaborate closely with your colleagues from Finance and Business Administration as well as our IT department to ensure data security and quality
• Conduct analysis and interpretation to support financial planning, particularly in the areas of budgeting, forecasting, and liquidity management

Your profile:

• Degree in economics, statistics, business informatics, or a comparable field
• Several years of experience as a Data Analyst, Business Analyst, or Data Engineer, ideally complemented by knowledge in finance and controlling to support data-driven decision-making
• Strong knowledge of data modelling, SQL, and at least one BI tool (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Pentaho)
• Excellent analytical and conceptual thinking skills as well as a strong affinity for numbers
• Strong communication skills and the ability to present complex analyses in a clear and understandable way
• Language requirements: German – C1, English – B2. English skills are an advantage but not mandatory. If your English is not perfect yet, that’s no problem – we value your expertise and commitment above all.
