To strengthen our team in Wietmarschen-Lohne we are looking for a Data Analyst in the field of Upstream Optimization. Upstream optimization, an innovative division of the Rosenxt Group, was spun off in 2023 and is dedicated to expanding into new business areas. Our focus is on developing advanced technologies for the optimization of energy production. Our state-of-the-art flow measurement device is a clamp-on non-intrusive system that gathers extensive real-time operational process data. To evaluate this data, we develop cloud-based software solutions that utilize classic signal processing algorithms and artificial intelligence (AI). In our interdisciplinary, agile, and autonomous teams, we foster innovations and customer value.

What You Can Expect

• Analyze oilfield data, with a focus on production rates, field trends, and sensor data
• Define and support strategies for oilfield operations and optimization
• Collaborate closely with customers to understand workflows, provide analytical support and deliver actionable insights
• Contribute to the development and validation of flow sensors and data-driven measurement systems, including well production optimization and reservoir optimization
• Identify business needs, translate them into analytical requirements, and deliver effective, data-based solutions

What You Bring

• Degree in Petroleum Engineering, Reservoir Engineering or a related discipline
• More than seven years of industry experience, preferably with an oil & gas operator
• Analytical mindset with high attention to detail and the ability to work intensively with data and software tools for extended periods
• Solid background in reservoir and production engineering workflows
• Good understanding of reservoir simulation techniques
• Experience in data analysis using machine learning algorithms
• Strong English communication skills (written and spoken), with the ability to clearly present technical findings to colleagues and customers
• Familiarity with industry-standard software (Petrel, ECLIPSE, Intersect, PETEX Suite, Kappa Suite)
• Familiarity with production allocation, reservoir modelling, or digital oilfield workflows
