• 12 months of demonstrated experience in managing an entire cycle of operation of a CYS facility including budgeting, facility management, supply management, program development, program implementation, curriculum oversight, hiring selections, training and supervision of personnel.

Jobbeschreibung

This position is located at a Patch Child Development Center, Stuttgart, Germany.

Child and Youth Services (CYS) Employee Childcare Fee applicable to employees working at least 15 hours per week

• First Child: 100% childcare fee discount (all CYS employees)
• Second and Subsequent Child: 25% childcare fee discount (all CYS employees)

A qualified candidate must possess the following:

Education:

Bachelor's degree or advanced degree in child development, early childhood education, elementary or secondary education, home economics, special education, or other fields appropriate to the position.

• For positions in Child Development Facilities: The education must have been in child development, early childhood education, home economics (early childhood emphasis), elementary education, special education or other fields appropriate to the position to be filled such as directly related behavioral science.

AND

Experience: Candidate must also possess all of the following:

• Minimum of 24 months experience working in group programs with children/youth
• As well as demonstrated knowledge in theories and principals of child/youth development, which must include 12 months of demonstrated experience in managing an entire cycle of operation of a CYS facility to include budgeting, facility management, supply management, program development, program implementation, curriculum oversight, hiring selections, training and supervision of personnel.

In addition to the above qualifications, candidates who possess the following qualifications will be considered "Highly Preferred" or "Best Qualified":

• A minimum of 3 (three) years' experience working as an NF-04 Facility Director or equivalent level position and grade in a Child Development Center (CDC) of 100+ funded spaces.
• Direct involvement with the entire process of obtaining national accreditation status through NAEYC on or after 2022.
• At least a minimum of 3 (three) years' experience with the Army Higher Headquarters Inspection process?
• Certified as a reliable Infant/Toddler or PS observer using the Classroom Assessment Scoring System.
