NVISO is seeking a Cybersecurity Project Manager (m/w/d) based in Germany to lead multi‑team security projects across Europe. You will coordinate across security operations, Detection Engineering, Incident Response and Architecture to deliver on customer ambitions, from kickoff to operational handover.
You will manage scope, timelines and dependencies, communicate with business development and management, and drive risk and budget control while maintaining strong client relationships.
It all starts with the mission: NVISO is here to protect European society from potentially devastating cyber attacks. This means we offer cyber security services to private and governmental organizations to help them better prepare for, prevent, detect and respond to cyber security incidents. All of this is built on four fundamental values that define who we are: We are Proud, We Break Barriers, We Care and No BS!
As Cybersecurity Project Manager (m/w/d) based in Germany, you will lead the delivery of projects that help protect organisations and the people who depend on them across Europe. You will bring together NVISO specialists in security operations, automation, Detection Engineering, Cybersecurity Architecture and incident response to turn customer ambitions into delivered security solutions.
You will manage implementation, integration and improvement projects from kick-off through acceptance and handover to the teams responsible for ongoing operations. You will keep scope, timelines and dependencies aligned, and make sure customers and colleagues know what has been agreed, what comes next and where a decision is needed.
You will work closely with Business Development, senior management and technical experts, organising their contributions and following commitments through. Your cybersecurity knowledge will help you ask informed questions and connect technical dependencies to delivery decisions. Experts retain technical ownership; you bring the people, plans and decisions together to deliver the project.
Typical responsibilities include:
You hold citizenship in one of the 32 NATO member states or the Austrian citizenship;
Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field, or equivalent professional experience;
Experience managing multi-team cybersecurity or IT implementation projects, covering planning, dependencies, risks, scope changes and delivery reporting;
Sound understanding of security operations, detection and response, automation and cybersecurity architecture, sufficient to discuss dependencies with experts and explain their delivery implications;
Experience tracking effort, budgets and forecasts, and coordinating contributors and decisions across several teams without direct line-management authority;
Experience in consulting or customer-facing delivery is an advantage; a project management qualification such as PMP or PRINCE2 is welcome;
Fluent business English and professional fluency in German (at least C1-level).
At NVISO, we care. We are committed to offering you a highly competitive remuneration package including financial and non-financial components:
