Zusammenfassung

Siemens Healthineers AG seeks a Cybersecurity Professional in Regulatory Affairs & Standards to shape global framework conditions at the intersection of regulation, innovation, and patient safety.

The role offers flexible work options within Germany and abroad under defined conditions; it is a fixed-term position for 18 months, with a full-time or part-time schedule (minimum 35h/week).

Qualifikationen

  • Completed university degree in one of the listed fields.
  • Many years of professional experience in Regulatory Affairs, Standards & Policy, Quality Management or similar.
  • Profound knowledge of international cybersecurity laws, regulatory requirements and standards.

Aufgaben

  • Contribute to the global Cybersecurity Regulatory and Standards strategy and drive its implementation.
  • Monitor, analyze, and assess international regulatory developments and standardization activities; derive actions.
  • Coordinate responses and position papers; manage collaboration with internal Cybersecurity experts and stakeholders.
  • Identify and implement new regulatory requirements and standards; advise on compliance and gap analyses for market access.
  • Position Siemens Healthineers in regulatory and standards initiatives and represent interests through committees/networks.
  • Prepare materials for internal/external audiences and represent company positions to stakeholders.
  • Coordinate implementation of regulatory priorities across markets and contribute to framework development.
  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with partners, standards bodies, and associations.

Choose the best place for your work – Within the scope of this position, it is possible, in consultation with your manager, to work mobile (within Germany) up to an average volume of 60% of the respective working hours.

Even more flexibility? Mobile working from abroad is possible for up to 30 days a year under certain conditions and in selected countries.

This position is offered on a fixed-term basis for 18 months and is full-time or part-time with a minimum of 35h/week.

Your tasks and responsibilities:

  • You contribute to the global Cybersecurity Regulatory and Standards strategy and independently drive its implementation.
  • You monitor, analyze, and assess international regulatory developments as well as standardization activities and derive corresponding actions and requirements.
  • You evaluate regulatory requirements, coordinate responses and position papers, and manage collaboration with internal Cybersecurity subject matter experts and other relevant stakeholders.
  • You ensure the early identification, analysis, and implementation of new regulatory requirements and standards, align them with existing controls, and advise on compliance and gap analyses as a basis for market access.
  • You are responsible for positioning Siemens Healthineers in regulatory and Cybersecurity standards initiatives and ensuring that company interests are effectively represented through appropriate committees and networks.
  • You research and analyze complex regulatory topics, prepare decision-making and communication materials for internal and external audiences, and represent company positions to relevant stakeholders.
  • You coordinate and support the implementation of regulatory and standards-related priorities across international markets and actively contribute to the further development of regulatory frameworks.
  • You build and maintain strategic relationships with internal partners, industry associations, standardization organizations, and regulatory and standards consortia.
  • You hold a successfully completed university degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Engineering, International Law, Economics, Public Health, Health Policy, Political Science, or a comparable field of study.
  • You bring many years of professional experience in Regulatory Affairs, Standards & Policy, Quality Management, or a comparable regulatory environment.
  • You possess profound knowledge of international Cybersecurity laws, regulatory requirements, and relevant standards, and have successfully applied them in practice.
  • You have in-depth expertise in established Cybersecurity standards, particularly ISO 27001, as well as other relevant international frameworks.
  • You can demonstrate proven experience working with standardization organizations, standards bodies, industry associations, or comparable external institutions.
  • Ideally, you have already contributed to standards development, the review of regulatory drafts, or participation in international working groups.
  • You have experience working within international organizational structures and understand the regulatory requirements of global markets.

  • You have excellent written and spoken English skills and communicate confidently with international colleagues, partners, and regulatory authorities, while German language skills are an advantage.
  • You stand out through highly developed analytical capabilities and the ability to assess complex regulatory and strategic matters in a structured manner.
  • You communicate effectively across different management levels and build trusted relationships with internal and external stakeholders from a wide range of disciplines.
  • You possess strong decision-making, organizational, and project management skills and successfully drive complex topics to completion.
  • You work independently, take ownership of your responsibilities, and drive initiatives forward with a high degree of commitment and execution strength.
  • You demonstrate a confident presence, intercultural competence, and the ability to build and leverage sustainable professional networks.
  • You enjoy international business travel of up to 20%.
