This Position reports to: Service Operations Manager

Key responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to ensure that the service portfolio is delivered effectively according to ABB standard processes and safety guidelines to the satisfaction of our customers. The Cyber Security Technical Sales Support role involves providing technical expertise and support to the sales team and customers. This position requires a deep understanding of cyber security solutions and the ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.

You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Providing knowledge of cyber security products and solutions to support the sales process
  • Assisting in identifying customer needs and proposing appropriate cyber security solutions
  • Providing technical consulting on Cyber Security Service solutions to ABB sales and customers
  • Identifying new sales opportunities, proactively communicating both with the customer and ABB sales teams to ensure customer needs are understood and business opportunities utilized for service growth
  • Assisting in the preparation of technical quotations
  • Managing third-party licenses
Qualifications for the role
  • Previous experience in technical sales support or similar role, preferably in the cyber security industry
  • Initial professional experience in a commercially oriented IT environment is an advantage
  • Good understanding of cyber security systems, excellent communication and presentation skills, and the ability to build strong customer relationships
  • You are adept in common security norms and standards
  • You are at ease communicating in German and English
  • You are passionate about providing flexible solutions to customer inquiries and problems
  • Relevant certifications such as IEC62443 expert are a plus
