The Cybersecurity Architect & Technology Expert designs and guides secure architecture across SI GSW product lines, embedding cybersecurity into the entire development lifecycle. The role combines deep technical expertise with strategic alignment, ensuring compliance with key standards and fostering innovation in secure design. Close collaboration with the security community, development teams, and product management ensures consistent and future-proof security solutions.

You’ll make an impact by

• Design secure software and system architectures for SI GSW products, considering threat models, risk assessments, and secure design principles.
• Define and maintain reusable security patterns, libraries, and architectural blueprints.
• Lead secure coding practices and code reviews, ensuring alignment with industry standards and internal policies.
• Guide relevant quality and testing approaches from code to full system, both on‑prem and in the cloud.
• Define reusable security patterns and ensure compliance with standards (IEC 62443, ISO/IEC 27001, NIST 800).
• Integrate security into CI/CD and DevSecOps processes.
• Evaluate and recommend security technologies and tools.
• Collaborate with R&D and product teams to align security architecture with business goals.
• Mentor teams on secure design, coding, and implementation.
• Support certification, audit preparation, and incident response.
• Drive innovation through PoCs, research, and continuous improvement of security frameworks.

Your defining qualities

• Diploma or master's degree in computer science or higher, Cybersecurity, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience in secure software architecture and development.
• Strong programming background (C/C++, Java, Python) and understanding of cryptography and secure communication.
• Knowledge of key security standards (IEC 62443, ISO 27001, NIST 800‑53, OWASP).
• Experience with cloud (Azure, AWS), containers (Docker, Kubernetes), and API security.
• Skilled in agile environments and cross‑functional collaboration within global teams.
• Siemens SWA certification or equivalent preferred.
• Strong communication and mentoring skills.
• Knowledge of industrial software and critical infrastructure security is an advantage.
• Excellent English proficiency.
