A Japanese company is looking for a Customs Specialist with Purchasing, Customer Service, ERP (SAP) experience.

Responsibilities

• Classification of goods in the commodity tariff for export and import
• Knowledge particularly in exports to third countries (worldwide)
• Contact with the warehouse for import and export processing
• Monitoring of ATCs and maintaining registers
• Transport cost control
• Application for and maintenance of BTIs
• Monitoring of deferral accounts
• Application for new customs authorizations
• Monitoring and maintenance of customs authorizations
• Working with BAFA (applications, orders, and invoices)
• Grouping of our goods according to the new European dual-use list
• Monitoring compliance with all listed sanctions/embargoes
• Assistance in the organization and calculation of new goods routes
• Monitoring and compliance with the Supply Chain Act and the Packaging Act
• Monitoring of the monthly invoice from our customs service provider
• Contact person for customs offices
• Optimization of import and export processes and process documentation
• Review of sanctions lists
• Compliance with customs/foreign trade regulations for exports

Qualifications
