Job summary

Sartorius in Germany is seeking a Customization Execution Lead to drive strategic business steering and cross-functional collaboration across our customization ecosystem. Based in Goettingen with the option for remote days, you will align Sales, PM CCS, Customization Platform, Engineering, Operations and BPM to create a transparent, scalable operating model and support better patient outcomes.

• Master's degree in Business, Engineering, Biotechnology, Life Sciences, Project Management or a related field.
• At least 10 years of experience in business-related project or program management, business steering, business operations, or a cross-functional environment.
• Understanding of strategic business steering processes and tools, with knowledge of customization and quotation-to-delivery in technical B2B environments.
• Strong experience in performance management, KPI governance, root-cause analysis and continuous improvement.
• Ability to coordinate complex cross-functional initiatives and influence stakeholders across global matrix organizations.
• Strong strategic/analytical thinking and ability to translate insights into actionable plans.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management, including presenting to senior management.
• High attention to detail and flexibility in documentation and reporting; adapt to changing requirements.
• Fluent English; German is an advantage.
• Willingness to travel occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Drive cross-functional collaboration across Sales, PM CCS, Customization Platform, Engineering, Operations and BPM, bringing together diverse priorities and dependencies to enable effective customization execution
• Develop and coordinate strategic project and program plans, defining objectives, timelines, resources and deliverables in alignment with organizational goals
• Analyze customization business performance and relevant Health of Business indicators, identify lead-time deviations, recurring bottlenecks and execution risks, and translate findings into appropriate corrective actions
• Prioritize Smart Customization and other improvement initiatives based on business impact, implementation feasibility and organizational dependencies, supporting effective implementation sequencing and resource focus
• Ensure effective management reporting by consolidating KPIs, risks, issues, decisions and actions and creating transparency for regular senior management reviews
• Drive execution reviews and escalation mechanisms, facilitate the cross-functional resolution of execution barriers and ensure consistent follow-up on agreed actions
• Collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders, manage expectations and ensure alignment with strategic project and program objectives

Join our Consumable Customization Services team as a Customization Execution Lead and play a key role in driving strategic business steering and cross-functional collaboration across our customization ecosystem. In this role, you will connect Sales, PM CCS, Customization Platform, Engineering, Operations and BPM to align priorities, dependencies and strategic initiatives. By creating transparency, enabling informed decisions and continuously improving our customization processes, you will help build a predictable and scalable operating model and contribute to better health for more people. Based in Aubagne or Goettingen with the possibility to work some days in a week remotely.

• Strong experience in performance management, KPI governance, root-cause analysis and continuous improvement, combined with structured problem-solving skills
• Proven ability to coordinate complex cross-functional initiatives, align diverse priorities and influence stakeholders across global matrix organizations
• Strong strategic and analytical thinking with the ability to anticipate challenges, translate insights into concrete actions and make sound decisions in a dynamic environment
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to convey complex information effectively, including to senior management
• High attention to detail and flexibility, particularly in project documentation and reporting and when adapting to changing requirements and timelines
• Fluent English; German is an advantage
• Willingness to travel occasionally
