Cardmarket is seeking a Support Agent who communicates fluently in Italian and English to assist users and resolve inquiries. The role is based in Berlin with a hybrid work model, offering engaging, customer-focused service in a fast-moving trading card marketplace.

You will handle inquiries, review disputes, and help enforce marketplace policies, contributing to a trusted, enjoyable experience for buyers and sellers alike.

Qualifications

• Fluent Italian (C2) and English (C1) required.
• Experience in customer support.
• Berlin presence and valid work permit for Germany required.
• Interest in trading card games and familiarity with Cardmarket is a plus.
• Ability to resolve customer inquiries with a solution-oriented approach.

To strengthen our Support Department, we are looking for a motivated Support Agent (Italian/English) who enjoys helping customers, takes ownership of support requests, and serves as a reliable point of contact between our users and internal teams.

Your Responsibilities

• You support Cardmarket users with a wide range of inquiries and operational topics. Your primary responsibility is to resolve customer requests and provide assistance in writing, mainly in Italian and English
• You are often the first point of contact between Cardmarket and its users. Through your daily interactions with our community, you help create a positive user experience and build trust in our platform.
• You help maintain a safe and trustworthy marketplace by reviewing disputes, identifying suspicious activities, and supporting the enforcement of our platform policies.
• You mediate between buyers and sellers to find fair and practical solutions. As many transactions on Cardmarket take place between private individuals, this role requires sound judgment, a high level of responsibility, and confidence in making independent decisions.

Your profile

• You speak fluent Italian (C2) and English (C1) and ideally French (B1) and/or Spanish (B1)?
• Are you interested in trading card games and do you already have experience with online marketplaces (ideally even with Cardmarket)?
• Do you like working in a solution-oriented way and helping others?
• Do you enjoy dealing with people, have a feel for customer enquiries and strike "the right note" in conversation?
• Are you well-versed in the use of computers and office applications?
• You already have working experience in customer support with other companies?
• Presence in Berlin & valid work permit for Germany is required!
