Job summary

SumUp is seeking a Customer Support Agent for the German market to join our Berlin team onsite. You will engage with German-speaking customers across phone, email, chat, and social channels, helping merchants with our POS solution and related inquiries.

In this role you’ll work to optimize processes that enhance customer happiness, collaborate with teammates and independently manage inquiries to ensure smooth operations for SumUp’s merchant base.

Customer Support Agent - German Speaker (Berlin based, onsite)

As a Customer Support Agent for the German market, you will be the voice of our company.

What you’ll be doing in this position

• Supporting our German-speaking customers by phone, email, chat and social media channels
• Supporting our merchants for all questions and inquiries about our POS solution
• You actively work on the optimization of all processes related to our customers, to constantly increase the happiness of our merchants

You’ll be great for this position if you have

• Excellent verbal and written communication (German and English)

• Experience with CRM systems
