Summary

We are seeking a motivated Customer Service Clerk to join our Customer Service team of our brand Cleco in Westhausen, Germany. In this role, you will support customers (B2B) across the EMEA region by providing excellent service throughout the order-to-cash process. You will act as a key interface between customers, sales, planning, logistics, warehouse operations, and other internal departments. Fluency in German and English is required, while additional language skills are considered an advantage. The position offers the opportunity to work in an international environment and contribute to customer satisfaction and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary contact for assigned customers and provide professional customer support.
• Process customer orders accurately and timely in SAP.
• Manage order confirmations and monitor order progress from entry through delivery.
• Coordinate closely with planning, logistics, warehouse, procurement, and sales teams to ensure customer requirements are met.
• Provide information regarding product availability, delivery schedules, lead times, and pricing.
• Monitor backlog and support on-time delivery performance.
• Assist in preparing reports and customer-related documentation.
• Support the resolution of customer issues and escalations in cooperation with internal stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and customer requirements.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within Customer Service.
• Support export shipment processing and coordinate required export documentation.
• Ensure customer orders comply with applicable export requirements and internal procedures.

Critical Skills & Qualifications

• Completed training as an Industrial Clerk (Industriekaufmann/-frau) or equivalent commercial education.
• 2-3 years of experience in customer service, order management, sales support, or a related commercial role.
• Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office applications.
• Basic understanding of supply chain, logistics, Export and order management processes.
• Strong customer service orientation and problem-solving skills.
• Technical understanding of products and business processes is an advantage.
• Experience with export documentation is preferred.
• Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken.
• Additional language skills such as French are considered a plus.
