We are working to increase vehicle safety by developing seatbelts, airbags and steering wheels and you can be part of our team as Customer Engineering Specialist - Productline Seatbelt.

The mission of Customer Engineering Specialist - Seatbelt will be to act as engineering window for G-OEM (Mercedes/ BMW/ AUDI&VW/ Stellantis) and engineering window for C-OEM ( GWM/ Chery/ ChangAn/ NIO/Li Auto/ Xpeng etc.) oversea business and provide professional engineering support to C-OEMs from EU location.

If you think you\'ll like to manage the following responsibilities at higher standards:

Responsibilities

• Be the primary customer/Autoliv engineering interface for customer related enquiries (internal and external) at the local customer site, for example: RFQ activities, technical changes, AS100 project support, support for development plan, etc.
• Involve in Quotation for early involvement in GOEM product strategy
• New GDP product promotion
• Closer communication loop between CTC DA & C-OEM EU tech center
• Collaborates with Autoliv cross-functional teams to ensure that the customer\'s technical issues are resolved efficiently and effectively
• Support CTC LEC project development issue communications and get customer approval
• Facilitate alignment of customer’s current and future technical and commercial needs and Autoliv’s product roadmap together with China team
• Early engagement in RFQ phase, promote Autoliv product (such as HOD technology promotion to E-OEM e.g. VW GenX) to customers
• Lead the customer communication in local site and refinement of product technical solution with China team
• Ensure the way of working is aligned with the overarching company and Autoliv China strategy and goals
• Support C-OEM customer visits to Autoliv

Qualifications

• Major in Mechanics Engineering or metal material
• Fluent in English
• Proficient in DFMEA; GD&T; DOE; 8D and know how to use in projects
• Experienced in product development process in automotive field
• Master in problem-solving tools to analyze problems
• Seatbelts experience, with good understanding of Electronics & Mechatronics, including HOD
• Comprehensive understanding of the intricate demand of the fast growing Chinese automotive market and willing to adapt to the way of working with Chinese OEM
• Customer focused and result oriented, good negotiation/communication skills, a global team player
• Cultivate robust relationships with customer different functions, as well as collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including sales, Engineering and quality etc
• Flexible on both local and international travel (visit to China), with a high frequency of customer visits to establish and make the connections - biweekly visits are expected at a minimum
