As part of Zalando's Content Solutions Team, the Creative Services team is specialised in developing and managing creative services and delivering creative projects for brand partners and internal stakeholders.
A Creative Services Lead guides, mentors, and directs a group of individuals to achieve specific goals and objectives for creative projects. They act as a bridge between the team and stakeholders, focusing on day-to-day operations, team performance, growth and morale.
We are looking for a Creative Services Lead to strengthen the day-to-day operations, develop the skills, improve the performance and grow the careers of the team members.
You'll translate strategies into actionable, short-term plans for the team, communicating clearly and effectively in setting priorities.
You'll lead and develop a team of 5+ Project Managers, organising work, assigning tasks and responsibilities based on their strengths, experience and workload.
You'll oversee day-to-day operations monitoring workflows, managing deadlines, and mitigating risks, proactively identifying, addressing, and removing obstacles that are hindering the team's productivity.
You'll optimise and organise structures, tasks, processes and frameworks to enable teams to continue effective collaboration and efficiencies.
You'll own and lead your own projects supporting the leadership and management operational plans and goals.
You'll motivate and inspire team members, recognize achievements, and foster a positive, collaborative, and inclusive team culture.
You'll track team and individual performance, provide constructive feedback, ongoing guidance, training and coaching to help the team members to develop their skills, improve their performance and grow their careers.
You'll lead by example, demonstrating strong work ethics, professionalism, integrity and accountability as expected of the team and business unit.
You'll coordinate with stakeholders, various teams and leaders to enable cross-functional team collaboration and manage dependencies.
You'll communicate team progress, results and challenges and provide solutions.
You'll manage crises, help resolve conflicts and foster a harmonious working environment.
You have at least 2-3 years of experience as a leader, leading (and growing) a small team.
You have experience and continued interest in developing people, strong skills in managing various types of personalities.
You can work independently as well as within a team environment.
You have strong communication and interpersonal skills with ability to network, collaborate and also resolve conflicts in challenging situations.
You have a hands‑on mentality, you enjoy working in a fast‑paced environment dealing with many topics.
You have a degree in marketing, communication, multimedia production or similar fields and are fluent in English.
You have sufficient experience and knowledge in the area of content and creative production (digital, offline etc.), processes to help develop the team and understanding of their challenges.
You lead by example with high standards and strong work ethics.
