Cost Management Coordinator - FTC, Fleet Physical Supply Chain

The Fleet team within Amazon Logistics (last mile delivery operations) is looking for a Cost Management Coordinator (12-month Fixed Term Contract – FTC) to support Amazon fleet programs (branded and short term rentals) cost validation process and execution in Europe.

Fleet is a highly visible program, both internally and externally, involving customers, suppliers, delivery service providers, and local authorities. This role offers a key opportunity in the rapidly growing Amazon Logistics organization.

Key job responsibilities
  • Own the recurring and non‑recurring charges for new and idle Amazon branded fleet in Europe, and the costs of short‑term rental fleets deployed for high volume events.
  • Ensure policy compliance, timely vendor payments and budget utilization.
  • Accelerate cost processing, strengthen vendor relationships, enhance validation accuracy, broaden stakeholder support, and standardize workflows.
  • Coordinate with finance, planning, central operations and external providers to resolve invoice discrepancies and ensure SLA compliance.
  • Support PO modifications, monitor Coupa ticket resolution, standardize cost templates rate‑card updates.
A day in the life
  • Review and validate FMC monthly cost submissions from Central Operations across all countries.
  • Open rental purchase orders and coordinate with Central Operations on cost discrepancies.
  • Lead weekly business reviews for rental supplier escalations.
  • Manually input Pre‑Approval Spend data into systems and resolve submission blockers.
  • Track and update actual vs. PAS monthly data, analyze deviations, and prepare finance review inputs.
  • Monitor purchase order creation, modifications and closures with suppliers.
  • Support weekly/biweekly supplier calls to ensure PO status alignment and cost submission verification.
  • Track approval chain finalization and Coupa system validations, including ticket follow‑up and issue resolution.
  • Maintain monthly approval creation and uploads, ensuring SLA compliance and documentation accuracy.
  • Collaborate with FMCs to gather updated rate cards and structure them for cost validation.
  • Standardize cost templates and optimize processes to reduce manual work and improve reporting efficiency.
About the team

The Fleet Delivery and Redeployment team belongs to the Fleet Procurement and Capacity vertical within EU Global Fleet & Products (GFP). We are responsible for the physical supply chain of all fleet programs (branded vans & cargo bikes, rentals). Our mission is to build a lean and unified supply chain with end‑to‑end ownership of fleet inventory.

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher.
  • Solid experience handling complex programs, ideally in supply chain, inventory management, or cost control.
  • Experience aggregating information and communicating effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Comfortable liaising with senior leadership.
  • High proficiency in spoken and written English.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master’s degree.
  • A history of teamwork and willingness to roll up one’s sleeves to get the job done.
