You will prepare oversight materials, support new lending products, and collaborate with stakeholders to automate governance and reporting with tools like Power BI and low-code platforms. English fluency is required.

• Relevant professional experience in risk management, controls, audit, governance, or a related banking function.
• Experience supporting controls, action tracking, oversight reporting, committee materials, or risk documentation.
• Experience with data analytics, reporting, and low-code tools with an interest in AI.

Aufgaben

• Monitor policy adherence, control performance, key risk indicators, data quality, actions, and supplier performance across the corporate lending lifecycle.
• Perform thematic oversight reviews, document findings, track remediation, and provide constructive challenge where required.
• Prepare oversight reports, dashboards, committee materials, and service reviews, highlighting recurring themes and emerging risks.
• Support new lending products and material changes by developing controls, reporting, data quality checks, workflows, and implementation tracking.
• Identify opportunities to improve and automate governance, monitoring, reporting, and evidence collection in collaboration with internal stakeholders and specialist providers.

For our office in Berlin Mitte we are looking for a Corporate Lending: Risk Control & Oversight Officer (m/f/d).

Your tasks:

• Monitor policy adherence, control performance, key risk indicators, data quality, actions, and supplier performance across the corporate lending lifecycle.
• Perform thematic oversight reviews, document findings, track remediation, and provide constructive challenge where required.
• Prepare oversight reports, dashboards, committee materials, and service reviews, highlighting recurring themes and emerging risks.
• Support new lending products and material changes by developing controls, reporting, data quality checks, workflows, and implementation tracking.
• Identify opportunities to improve and automate governance, monitoring, reporting, and evidence collection in collaboration with internal stakeholders and specialist providers.

Your knowledge/experience:

• Relevant professional experience in risk management, controls, audit, compliance, governance, credit risk, data, transformation, or a related banking function.
• Experience supporting controls, action tracking, oversight reporting, committee materials, service reviews, or risk documentation.
• Experience with data analytics, reporting, workflow automation, or low-code tools such as Power BI, Power Automate, Python, SQL, Databricks, Alteryx, or similar, together with an interest in the responsible use of AI.
• Interest in developing deeper knowledge of corporate lending and credit risk; experience in an ECB-supervised banking environment is an advantage.
• Ability to engage constructively with stakeholders across the first and second lines, Group, Finance, IT, Data, and senior management.
• Fluency in English is required; German and/or Dutch is an advantage.
