As a Controller, you will bring your expertise to elevate our Finance team to the next level and help build a scalable finance function. You take ownership, optimize processes, establish forward‑looking standards, and support our international expansion in the USA, France, the Netherlands, Spain, the UK, and Italy.
With your get‑things‑done mentality, you take initiative, tackle challenges hands‑on, and develop innovative solutions. As a Controller, you act as both an operational and strategic partner, shaping future‑oriented processes and providing strong support to all stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
- Business Partnering: Serve as the primary finance contact for business units and (international) subsidiaries
- 360° Responsibility: Prepare, manage, and reconcile intercompany transactions
- Reporting: Prepare monthly reports for management and investors, as well as internal reports for business units
- Analysis: Develop and implement new standard reports and prepare ad‑hoc analyses for management and departments
- Transparency: Create business cases and profitability analyses for (new) business areas
- Planning: Contribute to budgeting, multi‑year planning, and ongoing forecasts
- Integration: Support the onboarding and integration of new entities into the system landscape
- Optimization: Continuously improve existing processes and systems with a focus on planning and reporting
- Projects: Participate in special projects such as ERP implementation, internationalization strategies, or M&A processes
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Qualification: Degree in business administration or a comparable commercial education
- Experience: Relevant professional experience (at least 1–3 years) in controlling, ideally at the interface between finance and business units/subsidiaries
- Expertise: Strong analytical skills and numerical understanding, basic knowledge of HGB and IFRS
- IT affinity: Ability to work within and further develop complex IT structures, with experience in standardizing and digitizing controlling processes
- IT skills: Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM systems, ideally with experience in NetSuite
- Language skills: Fluent German (C2) and very good English skills (B2 or higher), both written and spoken
