Job summary

Buying Labs GmbH in Hamburg sucht Sie als Controller (m/w/d) zur Verstärkung unseres Controlling-Teams. Sie verantworten die Weiterentwicklung eines Modells zur operativen Liquiditätsplanung sowie das Cash-Management in kurzen, mittleren und langen Zeiträumen.

Sie arbeiten eng mit Abteilungen zusammen, analysieren Devisenrisiken (USD/EUR) und unterstützen die Einführung eines KI-basierten Tools für Liquidity- und Cashflow-Planung.

Qualifications

• Abgeschlossenes Studium in BWL, VWL oder vergleichbar mit Fokus Controlling/Treasury
• Mindestens 2 Jahre relevante Berufserfahrung in Finance oder Treasury Controlling
• Fundierte Kenntnisse in Liquiditätsplanung, Cash-Management und Treasury-Prozessen
• Erfahrung in der Analyse und dem Management von Devisenrisiken

Responsibilities

• Weiterentwicklung eines Modells zur operativen Liquiditätsplanung (kurz- bis langfristig).
• Verantwortung für Cash-Management, tägliche Disposition, Zahlungsströme und Forecast-Abweichungen.
• Mitwirkung an Auswahl, Implementierung und Weiterentwicklung eines KI-gestützten Tools für Liquidity- und Cashflow-Planung.
• Entwicklung von Szenarienanalysen zu USD/EUR-Wechselkursen und Handlungsempfehlungen für Treasury.
• Identifikation von Optimierungspotenzialen und Definition von Maßnahmen zur Reduzierung von Kapitalbindung.
• Enge Zusammenarbeit mit anderen Abteilungen und Unterstützung des operativen Tagesgeschäfts.

For our Hamburg office, we are therefore looking for an Controller (m/f/d) full-time, starting immediately.

Your Mission

• You take responsibility for the further development of a comprehensive model for operational liquidity planning and management (short-, medium- and long-term).
• You are in charge of managing and monitoring cash management, including daily disposition, payment flows and forecast deviation analyses.
• You contribute to the selection, implementation and further development of an AI-based tool for liquidity and cashflow planning.
• You develop scenario analyses for exchange rate developments (USD/EUR) and derive recommendations for action for Treasury.
• You identify optimization potentials and define measures to reduce capital commitment and improve working capital management.
• You work closely with the departments and support the operational day-to-day business.

Your Profile

• Successfully completed degree in Business Administration, Economics, or a comparable qualification with a focus on Controlling, Finance, or Treasury
• At least 2 years of relevant professional experience in Finance or Treasury Controlling
• In-depth knowledge of liquidity planning, cash management, and treasury processes
• Experience in analyzing and managing foreign exchange risks
• Excellent knowledge of Excel and Google Sheets, complemented by experience with ERP systems
• Strong hands‑on mentality, structured way of working, and strong communication skills for cross‑functional collaboration
• Business fluent in German and very good command of English
