Job Description:

The Contract Manager is responsible for overseeing the contract review process within Powers Health, ensuring that all contracts align with company policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards. Manages the full contract lifecycle, contract execution, compliance monitoring and renewals for all contracts within Powers Health including but not limited to supply chain, physician contracts, property leases, etc. This role manages a team of contract analysts and administrators, establishes standardized contract language, and determines when contracts require legal counsel review. The position works closely with procurement, legal, finance, and operational leaders to ensure consistency, compliance, and risk mitigation across the organization’s contracting processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Law, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in contract management, preferably in supply chain and/or healthcare.
  • Experience with procurement, supplier contracts, negotiations, and document review preferred.
  • Experience in areas of hospital operations, physician practice operations and/or healthcare regulations preferred.
  • Strong understanding of contract law, healthcare regulations, federal/state regulations related to vendor agreements and industry best practices.
  • Experience leading a team and implementing contract management processes.
  • Knowledge of healthcare specific procurement practices and value-based care models.
  • Familiarity with EHR vendors, medical supply agreements and healthcare IT contracts.
  • Excellent negotiation, risk assessment, and decision-making skills.
  • Proficiency in contract management software and ERP systems (e.g., PeopleSoft, Oracle, Coupa).
  • Strong MS Office skills: Word, Excel, Outlook.
  • Demonstrated project management skills and the ability to work under stress imposed by deadlines and multiple projects.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, organization and stakeholder management skills.
