You as part of tonies: As Content Operations Lead (all genders) you will build and run the global operational backbone of our content delivery - from ingestion and metadata management to technical quality control and catalogue integrity.

This role combines strategic oversight with hands-on execution: you will define and implement the systems, tools, and processes that ensure content is delivered accurately, on time, and at scale across all markets (UK, US, FR, DACH). You’ll serve as the key escalation point for operational issues and post-launch stability, bridging the gap between Content & Licensing, Product, and Portfolio functions to maintain excellence across the entire lifecycle.

A builder at heart, you’ll architect efficient workflows, champion automation, and establish data-driven standards that enable tonies to scale its global content ecosystem confidently.

Your tasks and responsibilities will include:

• Define and own global operational standards for content ingestion, metadata, quality control, and catalogue workflows.
• Design and implement scalable processes that support existing markets (UK, US, FR, DACH) and prepare for future territories and formats.
• Lead automation initiatives, leveraging AI and tooling to streamline metadata management, QC, and reporting - driving efficiency and consistency.
• Ensure operational readiness and release quality, managing SLAs, launch accuracy, and catalogue stability across all markets.
• Troubleshoot and resolve content delivery and metadata issues, acting as the central escalation point.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Content, Licensing, Product, and Portfolio teams to align timelines, standards, and workflows.
• Monitor and report on operational KPIs, identifying areas for improvement and embedding continuous optimisation.
• Be hands-on in execution – from process setup to QA implementation - ensuring high-quality, reliable delivery at every stage.

What we are looking for:

• 6+ years’ experience in digital content operations, publishing workflows, or media production.
• Proven success designing and executing global, scalable content operations.
• Strong technical understanding of file formats, metadata systems, CMS tools, and digital asset workflows.
• Demonstrated experience driving automation or process optimisation initiatives.
• Solid cross-functional collaboration skills with stakeholders in Product, Tech, and Content.
• Analytical mindset and comfort using data to inform decisions.
• A hands-on, execution-focused approach – equally comfortable defining strategy and rolling up your sleeves to deliver it.
