DHL Data & AI in Bonn is seeking a Consultant AI Transformation to translate business needs into AI and data use cases, steering delivery with technical experts and stakeholders. The role focuses on shaping AI projects from problem framing to implementation and requires a proactive, client-facing mindset.

You will collaborate with business and engineering teams, contribute to internal playbooks, and help drive digital transformation across DHL Group.

Qualifikationen

• One year of experience in management consulting or similar strategic, project-based role with exposure to managing projects and working with clients or senior stakeholders.
• Fluent in English; international experience is a plus.
• Strong analytical, conceptual, and communication abilities, with an interest in AI and data topics.

As Consultant AI Transformation (d/f/m), you will help shape AI projects from problem framing to implementation by translating business needs into structured workplans and steering delivery together with D&A’s technical experts. You will work closely with stakeholders to ensure solutions are aligned with client needs and create tangible business value.

What you will do:

• Engage with business stakeholders to understand their challenges, facilitate workshops, support business development activities, and capture business needs and requirements.
• Translate business needs into clearly defined AI and data use cases, including objectives, expected value, priorities, and initial project plans.
• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders and technical teams throughout project delivery by providing business context, clarifying requirements, supporting alignment on scope and priorities, and tracking progress.
• Support implementation and adoption through clear stakeholder communication, rollout planning, and compelling project narratives.
• Contribute to internal standards, templates, and playbooks that strengthen the quality and scalability of AI delivery.
• Support broader transformation assignments, including board preparation, communication narratives, and steering materials for senior stakeholders.
• Contribute to the company’s growth by driving internal initiatives and supporting recruiting efforts.

What you bring:

• You have a strong academic and professional background.
• You demonstrate excellent analytical, conceptual, and communication skills.
• You have at least one year of experience in management consulting or a similarly strategic, project-based role, with hands‑on exposure to managing project modules or workstreams and working directly with clients or senior stakeholders.
• You have a strong interest in AI and data topics and the ability to quickly build depth in unfamiliar subject areas.
• You are proactive, take ownership, and thrive in dynamic, fast-evolving environments.
• You are an open‑minded team player with a collaborative working style.
• You are fluent in English; international experience gained through work or studies is a plus.
