A major religious organization seeks a construction project manager in Frankfurt, Germany. Responsibilities include overseeing complex construction projects, managing teams, and collaborating with various stakeholders. Ideal candidates will have a degree in construction management, at least 8 years of relevant experience, and strong leadership and communication skills. Proficiency in advanced English is required, with additional European language skills preferred.
This position provides primary accountability for the development and construction of assigned major construction projects providing facilities with a spiritual setting where Church members can work, worship, teach, learn, pray together, make and renew covenants, and receive sacred ordinances, presenting an image of reverence and dignity in the community.
Such projects include renovations/expansions of new and existing meetinghouses, standard type buildings, mission homes/offices, church education system (CES), seminaries and small institutes, small welfare projects, distribution centers, and large Replacement and Improvement (R&I) projects.
Incumbent is expected to meet performance standards associated with the budgets, schedules, safety, and quality objectives of the Meetinghouse Facilities Department (MFD) while coordinating with leaders, architects, engineers, and contractors.
While the role is primarily based in Frankfurt, Germany, candidates from other European capital cities could be considered.
