We seek a Construction Manager to lead on-site coordination, manage subcontractors, and report to the project manager while ensuring schedule adherence and cost control.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years in pharma or oil/gas mechanical projects, and strong piping isometrics/GA drawing knowledge, with excellent organizational and client-facing skills.

Aufgaben

• Adherence to safety and quality policies.
• Onsite coordination between mechanical and other disciplines.
• Monitor and deliver project construction schedule.
• Attend on-site coordination meetings with client.
• Coordinate labour and plant with site supervisors and subcontractors.
• Supervise subcontractors and report to the project manager.
• Work with site engineers and safety officers to achieve goals.
• Monitor labour loading to minimize costs.
• Record project variations for QS.

Role: Construction Manager

Location: Mainland Europe

Duration: We are open to full-time permanent and contract positions.
Salary and rates: Negotiable, depending on experience.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Adherence to and promotion of company safety and quality policies.
• Onsite co-ordination between mechanical and other disciplines.
• Monitoring and delivering of project construction schedule
• Attending on-site co-ordination meetings with client.
• Co-ordinating and monitoring labour and plant requirements with sitesupervisors
• Supervision of project sub-contractors
• Reporting directly to the project manager on all aspects of the project
• Working closely with site engineers and safety officers to achieve project goals.
• Closelymonitoringlabour loading at all times to ensure that all costs are minimized.
• Ensuring that all project variations are recorded for the project QS

Requirements

• Have a minimum of 10 years' experience working on mechanical projects in the pharmaceutical or oil and gas industries.
• Ideally the candidate would be a time served fitter or wouldpossessa mechanical engineering qualification.
• Have an excellent understanding of piping isometric and general arrangement drawings
• Possess exceptionally good organisational skills withgood timemanagement ability, working to deadlines / prioritising.
• Self-starter who is committed to achieve an excellent standard of work.
• An orderly systematic approach to problem solving will be a prerequisite for carrying out this role.
• Strong teamplayer with ability to interact with clients and colleagues at all levels.
