Job summary

Primetime is seeking a Configuration Manager (m/w/d) with a space engineering background to safeguard product configurations throughout development and delivery of complex space systems.

You will own the configuration management process, lead change activities, and ensure traceability across requirements, design data, and released products in alignment with ECSS and ISO standards.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Systems Engineering or similar field.
• 5+ years of experience in Configuration management, preferably in ESA projects.
• Strong understanding of system engineering and product lifecycle and experience with hardware configuration control.
• Strong understanding of both the overall system architecture, detailed subsystem interactions, detailed designs and manufacturing.
• Familiarity with space project phases (Phase 0/A - F) gained in the European space industry

• Ability to quickly understand complex technical systems and their dependencies.
• Strong documentation, communication and time management skills
• Excellent English communication skills (written and spoken);
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Apps, DOORS and other required software

Responsibilities

• Manage configuration and technical data within ERP/PLM/PDM systems, ensuring accuracy, integrity and accessibility.
• Ensure end-to-end traceability between requirements, as designed configuration, released products and as built configuration.
• Ensure consistency between released technical documentation and participate in review / release processes.
• Generate configuration metrics, reports and status updates to support reviews, audits and management decision-making.
