Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Robotics, Physics, Computer Science or related field; PhD is a plus.
• Strong mathematical foundations; coding skills in Python and C++.

Responsibilities

• VIO Front-end Algorithm development: matching between frames and stereo pairs; calibration of camera intrinsics/extrinsics; obstruction detection.

• Cross-Team Collaboration: work with system, optical, and software engineers; communicate findings to stakeholders.

About the Role

We are looking for a Computer Vision Engineer to contribute to the development of the front-end of our visual inertial odometry (VIO) algorithmic stack.

Responsibilities

• VIO Front-end Algorithm development:

  • Matching between frames and stereo pairs
  • Calibration of cameras intrinsic and extrinsic parameters
  • Detection of obstruction

• Implementation and optimization of the algorithmic stack for our embedded platforms

• Testing, Validation & Monitoring: algorithms testing in simulation and real-world environments, development of inspection and monitoring tools..

• Cross-Team Collaboration: Work closely with system engineers, optical engineers, software engineers. Communicate findings effectively to stakeholders.

Candidate Requirements

• Educational Background: Master’s degree in Robotics, Physics, Computer Science or related field, PhD is a plus
• Technical Expertise: Strong mathematical foundations, coding skills in both Python and C++
• Hands-on VIO project experience. Experience with VIO on industrial products is a huge plus.
